For Sale: Subaru Impeza WRX STi
August 8th, 2008
I liked the car for its chassis and fun to drive factor - it's just great to drive in traffic, corners, etc.
The All Wheel Drive makes this car a blast to drive in the rain, and helps it maintain a rock solid feel in corners too. I'd guess it's not too amazing in the snow though, due to the summer only tires (i never tried).
The car gets great mileage, it's fun to drive, and it looks amazing.
With newborn twin daughters, and now with 3 kids, I had to get one of those big suv things in order to haul around all our stuff. So, the car has gotta go. I've only driven it once per month for the past several months (was hoping to justify keeping it, but it didn't work out). Before that, I drove it daily, bringing a smile to my face daily!
I had a minor incident with a cooler in my garage, which gave it a dent behind the front right wheel. Jeesh! I received 2 estimates; it's between $500-$800 to fix. This will be reflected in the sale price. Other than this imperfection that any new owner will want to fix, it's in great condition!!!
The car is in spectacular mechanical condition - always maintained by the subaru dealer. Always synthetic oil, and always on time.
Entertaining offers over 19,500 for the next cpl weeks. A high offer may entice me to close bidding and sell. $24,900 takes it today.

A son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me? The father who, despite having a heart condition, says 'Yes'.
They went on to complete the marathon together. Father and son went on to join other marathons, the father always saying 'Yes' to his son's request of going through the race together. One day, the son asked his father, 'Dad, let's join the Ironman together.' To which, his father said 'Yes' too.
For those who don't know, Ironman is the toughest triathlon ever. The race encompasses three endurance events of a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride, and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island. Father and son went on to complete the race together.

Turn off the TV
April 20th through April 25th, we'll be keeping our television off. Not like we watch that much television to start with... but we're looking forward to spending some extra time at the park, reading books, talking walks, visiting friends, and more!
