I can say it no better than Ron Paul.
My concern with the bailout was this: Once the people bailout the banks, who is going to be left to bail out the people? The lack of 700B is not the problem, it’s our deficit spending, trade deficit, and leadership deficits. We’re only injecting a fix for the symptom. This bailout is not the cure. To cure the problem, you must attack the disease directly. You must attack unbalanced budgets, an empire we cannot afford, a currency that is inflated to make up our deficits, and the failure to abide by the founding principles that made this country great in the first place.
